“I will lift up my eyes to the hills–where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2).
The circumstances, trials, problems, and issues of everyday life tend to obscure our vision and focus to a view that is straight ahead and limited to the moment in which we find ourselves. Faith enables us to view these obstacles from another perspective; a gaze that looks beyond that which is before us to the horizon of possibilities that our Maker is creating as a remedy.
Don’t let the valley of circumstances determine the quality of your day. Lift up your eyes to the hills.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Each day stands alone as unique. Each day brings endless opportunities. Each day is a new beginning. Each day is a progression in the creative processes of the Father. Each day moves us further from the failures of yesterday; toward the successes that lie in wait.
This isn’t just another day. This is the day the Lord has made
