While we could each speak of the advantages of going to church, science has now joined the conversation. Research continues to show the physiological benefits of regular church attendance, such as less arteriosclerotic heart disease. If our hearts are not guarded, however, there is a danger in going to church. There is a very real possibility that you can be absent even while being in attendance; that you go to church each week and your heart and mind be a million miles away. Avoid the danger…draw near with your heart.
