“But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all your works” (Psalm 73:28).
The psalmist is in a providential place, but it is also a place of self-determination. He has earlier reflected upon a time when he nearly stumbled; envious of the ever prospering wicked (v.3). Now, however, through life, reflection, and worship, he has come to realize that the only lasting story is the one being woven by the Lord our God. It is the only story worth telling.
