“And there was a young man named Eutychus sitting on the window sill, sinking into a deep sleep; and as Paul kept on talking, he was overcome by sleep and fell down from the third floor and was picked up dead” (Acts 20:9)
Who would have imagined the need to give so much thought to where you are going to sit during church. Eutychus learned the hard way that he lacked the maturity to stay engaged and participate in the worship experience while sitting in the back of the room. Not only must we consider where we sit but with whom we sit. Just as strategic seating can better facilitate our participation, certain people will either enhance or detract from our worship experience.
