“By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks” (Hebrews 11:4).
How you live today is significant. Your choices, decisions, relationships, actions, words, work ethic, and attitude have a cumulative effect and build for those around you a reservoir of memories. These memories continue to speak of us long after we are gone. If we live well the life of faith, it is a legacy that will be handed down from generation to generation. “The memory of the righteous will be blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot” (Proverbs 10:7).
Instead of letting others talk about us after we are gone, we should strive to let our lives do the talking for us.
