“Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, ‘The Lord, the Lord God…who forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin…” (Exodus 34:7).
“Nasa,” the Hebrew word for “forgive,” is picturesque. It means to lift up; carry; take away. Sadly, many allow the very thing that the Lord has taken way to continually hang over them; casting a shadow over every facet of life. To be launched into a new life requires not only the faith to accept the Lord’s forgiveness, but the willingness to forgive yourself.
