“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day” (1 Corinthians 4:16).
It’s always amusing when science discovers what scripture has long stated. For instance, new research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine suggests there may be a limit to our life span. In the quest for the fountain of youth, we can exercise, exhaust all resources, and pursue all avenues only to face the inevitable reality that this physical body is designed to die. Imagine, however, the eternal benefits of putting forth that much exertion, resourcefulness, and creativity into development of the inner man. Eternal youth is a fallacy; eternal life is not.
