“By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:3).
Faith illumines the mind to recognize the hand of the Creator within the created order. It is a perspective and outlook on life; the lens through which we see and interpret the world in which we live. While science offers partial explanations for the natural world, they are incomplete; requiring a never-ending cycle of further explanation. The faith presupposition, that God spoke the universe into existence, not only transcends scientific explanation, it encourages even more rigorous scientific pursuit.
