“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

The salvation that God is accomplishing has a definitive beginning and culminates in eternal life. The span between these two points is to be characterized by a voracious and insatiable appetite for the creative work of transformation that God is seeking to perform in our lives; a holy unrest and disdain for spiritual satisfaction and contentment. If this is not evident, then pride and self-righteousness have found their resting place.
