“Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer” (2 Corinthians 5:16).

The transforming work of Christ brings a redeeming perspective to how we view others. The flesh evaluates and judges others on the basis of race, social status, wealth, etc. The Spirit of the resurrected Christ, however, births in us a renewed system of appraisal. Now, we look on all persons through eyes of equality; seeing every individual as someone for whom Christ died; created in the image of God, of immeasurable worth and potential.
