“So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience…” (Colossians 3:12).

If our witness is effective in drawing others to Christ, it will not be the result of our theological convictions. Those influenced are more likely to point to our compassion and personal interest. Unwavering convictions regarding our beliefs are necessary, but with them must be the qualities reflecting the concern of a compassionate heart.
