“When He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go and show yourselves to the priests’” (Luke 17:14).
Ten individuals dwelling in a no man’s land somewhere between Samaria and Galilee (v.11-12) shared a common malady — leprosy. Common affliction has a way of erasing all ethnic, economic, and social differences. So does the grace of God. When experienced, it levels the playing field — no one is the greater, nor the lesser. We are all the same — sinners saved by grace.
