“Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine — where are they? Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner” (Luke 17:17-18)?
While many within the western church have grossly misunderstood grace as a license to do as one pleases, a proper biblical understanding portrays a more fitting response — responsibility. To have experienced God’s grace is to be enlisted into a life of selfless service and entrusted with a platform of immeasurable influence. To live for His glory is the only proper response.
