SPENDING/VALUING TIME

12122017 Tuesday

“In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty” (Proverbs 14:23).

Time is arguably our most valuable commodity, being of more worth than even gold. It is either wasted or spent on what matters. I would rather give $100 to a stranger on the street than one minute to frivolous matters, petty activity, and the one-upping gamesmanship played by the masses seeking to posture themselves for earthly success and the admiration of one another. As followers of Christ, the desired return on our investments cannot be given by man; only God.
