“For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,” (2 Corinthians 4:17).
Hurting? Grieving? Discouraged? Frustrated? Not to diminish these very real and painful feelings, but the apostle Paul says they are but a snapshot of the present moment. Not only this, but when held-up in contrast to the eternal weight of glory, the experience God has in store for us in the heavenly abode, the afflictions we experience here and now are light and momentary. Whatever burdens you are this moment facing, these do not define who you are or what the rest of your days will be like. It is but for the moment.
